Welcome to the 5th Annual Congress of the South East Asian Thoracic Society (SEATS 2026), held in conjunction with the 6th Multi-Disciplinary Lung Cancer Conference (MLCC 2026), taking place from 11–15 November 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Singapore.

This year marks an exciting milestone as SEATS 2026 and MLCC 2026 come together for the first time, bringing two leading scientific meetings under one roof. By co-locating the two conferences, we have created a unique platform that maximises value for our delegates, faculty, industry partners, and the wider healthcare community. Through aligned scientific programmes and schedules, participants will benefit from a distinguished international faculty, enhanced multidisciplinary collaboration, and a broader regional audience.

SEATS 2026 (11–14 November) will explore the future of integrated multidisciplinary care and the transformative role of emerging technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence in reshaping clinical practice, education, and patient outcomes under the theme, “Where Boundaries End, Innovation Begins – Breaking Silos Through Integration, Robotics and AI.”

MLCC 2026 (15 November) will feature a dedicated one-day scientific programme under the theme, “Moving into the Era of Rational Combinations.” Focusing on advanced lung cancer, the programme will provide cutting-edge insights into the evolving landscape and complexities of treatment across the ever-expanding subtypes of lung cancer. Discussions will span small molecule inhibitors, novel biologics including bispecific T-cell engagers (BiTEs) and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), as well as immunotherapy, with a focus on how the field is embracing rational combination strategies to improve patient outcomes.

Format	Rotating hands-on stations with focused short didactic sessions and practical demonstrations
Introduction	This hands-on workshop is designed to strengthen both the technical execution and clinical reasoning required for advanced bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonology. Each station combines short expert demonstrations with deliberate practice, troubleshooting, and discussion of indications, safety checks, and complication management
Objectives	– Develop a structured approach to procedure planning, including indication, airway anatomy, lesion or nodal target, device selection, and rescue strategy. – Improve hands-on familiarity with convex-probe EBUS bronchoscopes, R-EBUS probes, guide sheaths, biopsy tools, cryoprobes, ablative devices, rigid bronchoscopes, and airway stents. – Practice stepwise technical execution with attention to ergonomics, team communication, equipment readiness, and procedural flow. – Recognise pitfalls early and apply practical strategies for bleeding, airway obstruction, pneumothorax risk, device malposition, and loss of target access.

Format	Interactive, case-based multidisciplinary workshop focused on precision lung cancer care, integrating molecular tumour board discussions, real-world case simulations, and live audience polling.
Introduction	This workshop focuses on the practical application of molecular profiling in lung cancer, including NGS, liquid biopsy, and minimal residual disease (MRD). Emphasis is placed on translating biomarker data into real-world clinical decision-making across early-stage and advanced disease settings.
Objectives	– Apply NGS and molecular profiling in lung cancer management – Interpret ctDNA and MRD results in clinical practice – Integrate biomarker data into treatment decisions – Manage early and advanced NSCLC using precision oncology approaches – Conduct multidisciplinary tumour board (MTB)–style decision-making in clinical scenarios – Discuss real-world challenges in implementing molecular diagnostics in routine practice – Evaluate emerging roles of perioperative and adjuvant biomarker-guided therapies
