Korean Society for Thoracic Surgery (KSTS)

The Korean Society for Thoracic Surgery (KSTS), formerly known as The Korean Association for Thoracic Surgical Oncology (KATSO), is the principal academic body in Korea, dedicated to advancing General Thoracic Surgery through excellence in education, research, and global engagement. KSTS serves as Korea’s central platform for high-level scientific and clinical exchange, providing advanced surgical skills training, driving impactful research and development initiatives, and actively engaging in international partnerships to align with worldwide best practices and contribute to the advancement of global thoracic care.

Mongolian Association of Thoracic Surgeons

The Mongolian Association of Thoracic Surgeons (MATS) is a professional organisation founded in 2015, dedicated to advancing thoracic surgery in Mongolia through education, clinical excellence, and research. The association brings together thoracic surgeons and healthcare professionals to promote best practices in the management of thoracic diseases, including lung, esophageal, and mediastinal conditions. MATS actively supports training, international collaboration, and knowledge exchange to improve patient outcomes and strengthen the development of thoracic surgery in Mongolia.

Taiwan Society of Thoracic Surgeons (TSTS)

The Taiwan Society of Thoracic Surgeons (TSTS) is a non-profit professional organisation dedicated to advancing thoracic surgery in Taiwan through education, research, and clinical practice. Taiwan has an integrated thoracic surgery training system with over 30 years of experience, covering pulmonary, airway, mediastinal, and esophageal diseases, with esophageal surgery primarily performed by thoracic surgeons. TSTS promotes structured specialist training, continuous professional development, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Through scientific meetings, training programs, policy engagement, and international cooperation, the Society aims to strengthen professional standards, support innovation, and enhance Taiwan’s contribution to the global thoracic surgery community.
