Dr Mariko Fukui is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Thoracic Surgery at Juntendo University, Japan. Since graduating from Niigata University in 2005, she has specialised in advanced thoracic oncology.
She is a highly experienced robotic surgeon, holding certified instructor qualifications for both the da Vinci and hinotori systems, with a track record of over 230 robotic procedures for lung cancer and mediastinal tumors.
Committed to advancing surgical techniques for optimal patient outcomes, Dr Fukui also serves as a Councilor for The Japanese Association for Chest Surgery and The Japan Lung Cancer Society.
